This weekend workshop led by sound artist David Stalling will explore the theory and practice
of DIY microphone making. Aimed at artists, musicians, music technologists and electronics enthusiasts,
the topics covered in this workshop are: short introduction to electronic concepts and components; reading circuit schematics;
overview of different microphone types and audio interface circuits; circuit board layout; basic principles of microphone design.
